Sly Horse Studios is a full-time, professional photography studio located in Rockville, Maryland. Our photography studio spaces are available for rent and boast two full-sized, fully equipped, state-of-the-art photographic studios each of which includes a large three-station make-up room, “dark horse fantasy” studio, and small head-shot studio. One of our two large studios is equipped with an access portal that allows a full-sized car or motorcycle to be driven into the studio space. Our studio complex is climate controlled, ground-floor, and accessible twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. In addition, our studio complex includes amenities like two private handicap accessible bathrooms, a kitchenette with fully-stocked beverage mini-refrigerator, multimedia players, and a wall-mounted flat-screen television.

Sly Horse Studio is owned by, and the business and professional home to, Sly Horse Photo . Our new studio complex houses the professional offices of several other professional photographers including Inner Glow Photography, H2 Photography, John Barnes Photography and Aphrodite Photography. Sly Horse Studio and our colleagues accept a variety of photographic assignments including business and commercial, event, editorial and fine art, portfolio, and portrait photography. Our studio complex is available for rental for workshops, video shoots, parties and events, and more. In addition, Sly Horse Studio provides a record keeping service for 2257 Records. Our studio complex is used by over 300 talented photographers and services as a networking center for photographers, models, and related professions to whom we can make referrals as assignments warrant.
Sly Horse Studio has established a reputation for serving photographers, models, and other industry professionals. Although difficult to believe, our studios may be rented twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year as available (i.e., our studio spaces, especially during the weekends, can be booked out several weeks in advance). In addition, Sly Horse continues to host and serve as the location of numerous workshops, shoot-outs, professional networking events, and educational and training classes that are scheduled throughout the year.
Sly Horse Studio rental reservations must be scheduled through the live calendar system associated with this website. Our calendar system is fairly easy to use and can be accessed through the navigation link called Studio Reservations. Our Yahoo Group, Sly Horse Studio Group will remain in place for the time being; however, the yahoo group calendar feature is blocked from public access as it is no longer used to schedule rental reservations.
